Dental Implants Restorations

Appearance Plus Functionality, Expect the Best from Dental Implants

Dental implants are by far the best restorative care for replacing lost teeth. They look, feel and function very much like natural teeth and can restore your smile beautifully. If you’re looking for a permanent solution for replacing lost teeth, contact Earl E. Gaball DDS in Battle Creek, Michigan, to see if cosmetic teeth implants are a good fit for you.

Appearance Plus Functionality

Implants are natural-looking prosthetics that closely resemble the appearance of natural teeth. They consist of a titanium post, an abutment, and a porcelain crown, which acts like your new tooth. This crown can be customized to match the size, shape, and color of your natural teeth so that your implant blends in perfectly with your smile. Single implants look so much like natural teeth that it’s hard to distinguish between them.

When it comes to functionality, implants act like natural teeth in restoring your ability to bite and chew all kinds of foods. You’ll be able to eat with relish again, without discomfort or worrying about damaging your new teeth. Implants are also:

  • Safe – The post is composed of titanium or zirconium material, both of which are biocompatible with your gums and teeth
  • Stable – The titanium post is surgically embedded into your jaw to replace your tooth root. Once it’s integrated into your bone system, we’ll attach an abutment and crown to replace your missing tooth. The post holds your crown firmly in place so that it never slips or shifts when you talk, laugh or eat
  • Permanent – The titanium post can last a lifetime with proper care. Quality prosthetics can last ten years or longer before needing replacement, depending on their use
